Documenting NYBFW felt like something I had only ever admired from afar... equal parts exhilarating and humbling. I reached out to brands with more hope than certainty, met with plenty of no’s, and a handful of incredibly meaningful yeses that made my hands shaky with excitement. It pushed me in ways I didn’t expect: creatively, professionally, and personally. Being there for the first time, I felt a mix of excitement and TONS of nerves, constantly balancing self-doubt with the internal push to grow, talk to new people, make connections, and be creative. 

The energy at each event was contagious. I loved the intensity of runway shows, the intimacy of presentations, and the fun of cocktail party events. I found myself having so many pinch me moments, meeting creatives I've looked up to online for years, saying hi to designers who inspire me, or when it'd hit me that I was actually in New York documenting this week. I left feeling so deeply inspired by quite literally every facet of this week: the designers, their work, the models, the beauty teams, other photographers, by the city itself!! I’m so, so honored to have been trusted to document these moments alongside such thoughtful and visionary brands.
